Attendance:     

During the course of the 2024-25 school year,the rate of non-regular attenders at Buena Vista will decrease from 21.6% to 10% or lower.  In addition, the rate of non-regular attenders in our ELL Student focal group population will decrease from 41% to 20% or lower.

Student Behavior: 

        During the 2024-25 School Year Discipline Referrals will reduce by a minimum of 10% (from 277 to 250 or fewer).  Emphasis will be given to reduce the # of referrals from the playground that result from issues at recess (ex:  Physical contact, physical aggression, teasing/demeaning behavior, disrespect).

Academic Achievement:

Over the course of the 2024-25 school year the number of students meeting or exceeding the OSAS in English Language Arts (ELA) will increase by a minimum of 5% (from 39% to 44%) which would exceed last year's state average.  In addition, overall growth rates for students in all focal groups will increase at least 1 level as based on OSAS results and the indicator ratings table   Finally, students in grades K-2 will increase at least one category/level in the area of phonemic awareness as measured by the EasyCBM assessment (currently 14% of 3rd graders, 19% of 2nd graders and 15% of 1st graders are in the “high risk” category)
